Been trying to understand why the new James Webb space telescope is making a circular orbit around essentially nothing now it is out at the Lagrange 2 location. This video is the first I've come across that actually explains the how & why of this motion:



It really is rocket science afterall!

Webb has the resolving power to image exoplanets, and use spectroscopy to analyze their atmospheres to determine if things like oxygen, H20, methane, and other fingerprints of life are present there.
Real exciting start to the search for extraterrestrial.
Very cool stuff.
