Totally unrelated to bikes!
You may have seen "Initiative Q" popping up here and there on Facebook and in social media, I ignored it at first, but saw it a few times, so looked in to it.
The other day, while I was having my morning coffee, I had a read and actually this stuff looks quite interesting, I honestly wonder if it does have the potential to be the next big thing like Bitcoin was.
At first I thought it was a stupid pyramid scheme, but when I spent some time understanding what it's all about, then saw who was behind it all I figured I may as well sign up here.
It's also been validated by some money saving experts, and they verified that it is genuine and not a hoax.
Here is one of the discussions, this one on BBC Radio 5 Live
It's a project being run by some of the guys that worked for PayPal, and currently they are giving some away in exchange for signing up and showing an interest in what they are doing.
I am usually quite skeptical about this sort of thing (I was with Bitcoin) but having spent some time this morning reading through their website, I really can't see any harm in leaving my name and email address.
At least if it does make it big this time, I won't miss the boat like I did with Bitcoin!
Go and have a look, and leave your name and email address - I really can't see that any of us have got anything to lose with this!
