garden gate head ???
+1kernel65 said:Non-downdraught garden gate head (post '61?), single monobloc, no breather as mentioned, and timing cover looks like Domi 88 or 99 motor. Slimline frame might be original. Numbers will tell the truth. Scott

That will be news to all the plunger framed Norton Model 7 dommie twin owners here.
And of which I have a few.
The iron heads are quite distinctive, (and HEAVY !!)
And have less fins and less widely splayed exhaust ports,
so the later exhaust pipes couldn't fit.
And small inlet ports, and vertical manifold studs.
Nope, no need to discuss this possibility....

marshall said:Hello, I bought my Norton in Malaysia in 1979, and had it shipped back to the United States in 1980. I this point I need to sell it, but I am not sure what model it is. I am thinking a P11 or P11A ? I could check the VIN, but the bike is in Boston, and I am in Albuquerque. (I am planning to fly to Boston to sell it.) In the meantime, based on the photos attached, could anyone hazard a guess as to the model of my Norton. Thank you!
