Please could you help me with this frame https://photos.app.goo.gl/CoBYgv9ovc4qKHQw8
I believe what you have there is a slimline featherbed frame that someone has removed the rear subframe and swinging arm from and substituted with a customised set up.
Why would this be removed? So a good find then? Can you give me any info on the other items? https://photos.app.goo.gl/CoBYgv9ovc4qKHQw8 Thanks xI believe what you have there is a slimline featherbed frame that someone has removed the rear subframe and swinging arm from and substituted with a customised set up.
As to whether or not it’s a good find depends largely on what you want to do with it and what your capabilities are… and what it cost. Why would this be removed? So a good find then? Can you give me any info on the other items? https://photos.app.goo.gl/CoBYgv9ovc4qKHQw8 Thanks x
I'd love a "feathered" NortonSwinging arm looks alloy to me, so not Dresda.
Your best bet is to share the engine number with the guys on this forum who’ll then be able to tell you exactly what the engine is.
The frame is a modified slime line featherbed.
The frame number (unless removed) will be on the left hand side gusset plate (ie where the swinging arm spindle mounts.
Looks like someone’s ex race bike project to me, could be why there are no papers etc. The oil and petrol tank look well made.
Then, armed with this info and as many clear pics as you can, put it on eBay as a ‘Norton feathered cafe race / race bike project’. Whatever it sells for is what it’s worth !
