Unfortunately my plan to attend this years rally at the Blackthorn Resort is not going to happen.

I have a cabin for 4 people reserved and if someone here wants it, I will help get it transferred.

Otherwise I will be canceling it. Jim:(

Jim, It would have been a pleasure to meet you. I hope whatever is causing you to cancel is something you overcome swiftly. Respecting your privacy.

Thanks, I am feeling much better now and I'm sure I could handle the ride. I was looking forward to it.
But unfortunately I have too much catching up to do after being down, both with work and my checkbook. That and my YL starts a new job this week after too many years as an epidemiologist in the middle of covid.
But I will be back... Jim

Six days of 🏍️ on the Kancamagus Hwy .... 😇
Several years ago, when we were doing a lot of touring in Europe we decided that a change of scene would be nice, so we hit on New England in the fall with a rented 'V Twin'....

It was evident here were a couple of issues with the bike, so we popped into a dealer, and they were resolved easily and at the rental company's cost.....but whilst waiting I asked the guy at the reception what roads we should try as we get to end of the Kancamangus Highway in NH and crossed the state line.

'I have no idea' he said. I looked puzzled and said oh! He said 'I ride 20,000 miles a year, but I never go out of state'.

I call it "small fish/small pond syndrome".

Depends what your idea of fun is.
Tavern to tavern?
Or get 200 miles away from the hustle & bustle?

Sounds like you were talking to Puddle Duck.

Hard to imagine a V twin guy from NH, and being so close to the Maine state line, not knowing about or going to "the great destination" bar in Arundel. ;)
