Everyone start making your plans to join the Northern California Norton Owners Club (NCNOC) in Quincy, California, on June 16-21, 2025. Building on the enormous success of previous rallies held here in 1996 and 2016, the NCNOC has once again booked the Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds as the main rally site. With moderate weather and an abundance of wonderful riding roads this location is perfect for exploring the Sierra Nevada Mountains, gold rush towns, mountain lakes, and railroad engineering marvels.

Quincy is 85 miles north of Lake Tahoe via Hwy 89 in the California High Sierras. The Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds rally site includes RV spaces, tent camping, and bathrooms with clean showers. The friendly town of Quincy boasts motels, campgrounds, stores, and great restaurants.

The official INOA rally website is https://nortonrally.com and has been updated to include the Feather River Rally III. The website is being updated regularly with rally details as they are finalized.

Registration will open January 1, 2025, but you can mark your calendars and make your travel plans now!

INOA 2025 Feather River Rally III Update!

Recognizing people's need for travel time and flexibility to attend an INOA rally we've made a schedule decision we think you'll all appreciate.

First, we have plenty of time to be together with the Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds booked from early Monday morning June 16th through Saturday morning June 21st.

Second, we will schedule a first ride and tech session starting Monday afternoon with field events, concours, dinners, drawings, and awards on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday will still be a rally day, focused on your time with friends, local sights, potluck dinners, and plenty of bench racing.

They key is that if you need the extra time to travel by leaving sometime Friday you can do so without missing out on the prizes, awards, and main rally events. But feel free to stay through Saturday morning if you can!

A tentative schedule will be published soon, and registration starting in January.

See you in Quincy, CA, June 16th-21st 2025!

Included in the rally registration are two dinners and one lunch. The Quincy Elks Lodge #1884 is booked to serve Tuesday night's all you can eat taco bar, and Thursday night's banquet tri-tip dinner. Wednesday's main group ride is to beautiful Lake Almanor with lunch at the Plumas Pines Resort.

The Elks will also be on site Tuesday through Saturday morning offering breakfast to those who want to purchase and eat breakfast at the rally site.

Indoor swap meet!
A few options ...

Anyone camping on the fairgrounds can set up, if they want, beside their tent/RV/Trailer as much as they like. That's always fun since it gets people walking around and visiting each other.

We have the large, concrete floored, Serpilio Hall for the duration of the rally, in which:
  • Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM is the "Vendors and Swap Meet". I encourage formal vendors to be there at that time as well. People going on that day's ride will still have a couple hours to join the swap meet when they get back.
  • People are also welcome to set up in Serpilio Hall any time or all the time from Monday morning through Friday afternoon. It's unsupervised and up to their availability or desire to be present (or not, trust and the honor system?) for their setup.
  • I've penciled in Friday (Friday is a "free day" with no other official events) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM as a second "Swap Meet", depending on how Tuesday and the rest of the week has panned out.

Sound good?

Ian
