can't really determine the source yet. might be just foward of the chain on the left side.

not much but not dry. how many folks here drip a bit (meaning your bikes)?
thx,

If it's never been opened, the engine will most likely leak somewhere. Mine still drips a bit, I think off the bottom engine stud. The breather into the airbox is a big leak spot on the 69/70, drips down onto the top of the gearbox and everywhere else from there. I piped mine into a catch bottle and it helps a lot. Some people claim theirs doesn't leak.

This is a gag, right? Brit bike dripping oil?

A good guess is that your primary may be leaking some lube, that O ring seal thing may need refitting?

I would start by having the bike on the center stand and then unscrewing the bolt in the middle of the primary cover towards the bottom in the middle. This is a level plug, let lube keep coming out until it stops, maybe your primary is overfull? You could be leaking engine oil between the left side and the inner primary if the three front securing bolts are not snugged. I think you need to get a little intimate with your primary and see what is going on in there?

No no no no no, you're talking about that Harley appreciation thread somewhere around here, I'm sure.
That being said, I have heard of some oil leakage. Can't remember the source but I do know that it is extremely rare.

Mine always has and always will leak. It's just telling me it's not empty!! So keep on keeping on.
