I've installed a Pazon dual 12v coil on my 1975 Commando Mk3, along with their electronic ignition. The coil assembly, with heat sink, measures approx 3"L x 2" wide x 1.5" high, and mounts quite nicely under the standard coil bracket. I have no performance data, as I am several weeks from road testing my complete rebuild. If it sounds interesting to you, contact me off-list and I'll send you a few photos of the installation. It's quite tidy, and, from a cost point of view, very interesting.

There are also some very small high output coils available now. They are bundled with the Boyer Micropower ignition set up. Not sure who makes them. Maybe Gill? They are about half the size of the Dyna and should be even easier to hide.

The Silver bike had a dual lead coil under the seat.

He also crapped out in the middle of nowhere, that's when I found the loose plug wire under there.

It was a REALLY fun ride of "the Trinity", his two issues were the only ones in the bunch (7 bikes, 400 - 600 miles for some of us).
