Hi Guys, To finance some new shop equipment [for Norton work] I have decided to put my 74-850 up for grabs. It's a full on hot rod with all the goodies. You can contact me at comnoz2@juno.com or 719-821-5708 for info. Jim Comstock

You ought to at least list the highlights and notes about general condition.

Plus, a PHOTO or five would help!

Ok, the details of the bike are; 74-850 Roadster 8000 miles since new, 1000 miles since restoration and build, powdercoated frame and small parts, alloy wheels, 18 and 19 inch front, 18 inch rear, stainless rotors, stainless brake hoses, Nissan adjustable master cylinder and matching clutch assy, Fox shocks, Hyde fork brace, Corbin seat, Early Norton megaphones, Keihin FCR's, Boyer digital ignition, Dyna Coils, sparks 3 phase, Halogen headlight, Webcam 86c cam, full port job with raised D ports, polished head, ceramic coated barrel, Carrillo rods, balanced crank, superblends, Hepolight poistons, standard bore, belt drive, custom stainless rearsets, LH shift, custom folding kickstart lever to clear rearsets, all stainless hardware mostly ARP, stainless isolastic headsteady, and probably a few things I have forgotten, fast and loud. I built this for myself about 5 years ago and only uncover it when I want a thrill.
If you want pictures let me know and I will send them. Jim

The shop equipment is a 3D scanner and printer to make a lot of neat goodies. The cylinder heads are basically done but I have a list of accessories that I plan on producing. Jim

DO YOU SEE????

There's a HUGE difference between

"74-850"

and

"74-850 Roadster 8000 miles since new, 1000 miles since restoration and build, powdercoated frame and small parts, alloy wheels, 18 and 19 inch front, 18 inch rear, stainless rotors, stainless brake hoses, Nissan adjustable master cylinder and matching clutch assy, Fox shocks, Hyde fork brace, Corbin seat, Early Norton megaphones, Keihin FCR's, Boyer digital ignition, Dyna Coils, sparks 3 phase, Halogen headlight, Webcam 86c cam, full port job with raised D ports, polished head, ceramic coated barrel, Carrillo rods, balanced crank, superblends, Hepolight poistons, standard bore, belt drive, custom stainless rearsets, LH shift, custom folding kickstart lever to clear rearsets, all stainless hardware mostly ARP, stainless isolastic headsteady".

Holy Guacamole, I'd LOVE to see some pix...

...but in the interest of full disclosure, my "play money" account is at zero right now...

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the forum!

I can't afford to buy your bike either, but I'd sure love to see a photo or two. :)

cheers,
Debby

Hi Debby, Thanks for the welcome. I've been a lurker here for a long time. Just don't post much. I haven't tried posting pictures here but I can sure send some. Jim

Jim sent me these pictures, I am sure he would not mind others to see them.

Jean

Thanks for posting the pictures Jean. Now I wish I would have given it a bath. Jim

Thanks for posting the pictures but sorry, ........ seeing the photos doesn't do it for me, I wanna test ride!

Unfortunately I'm like the majority, I can't afford it either, (sigh)

I think I need to talk to the wife tonight, Well maybe I had better get the unfinished bike outta the extra bedroom first. Or maybe buy a lotto ticket tonight! Super bike!!!!!

Well Rennie, Come on down to Colorado. Test rides are free. And it was close to 80 degrees here today. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket. Then I wouldn't need to sell the bike. Jim
