Healing up

Bad to hear, hope you'll recover.
Had a partial memory loss 50 years ago when speedway racing. Last memory was broadsiding with front wheel too high in the air. Had to quit racing as I couldn't go full throttle after that. Guardian angel pulled throttle back. 43 years later I could start racing again.
We are all different in how we react after a crash, hopefully you'll be on the Norton again.

Sorry to hear about your accident Mike, but I'm sure the Norton waiting in the shed will help you to get better faster.

Wishing you all the best Mike during your recovery , sounds like that might take some time ..... think of all the good things in life to help pass that time until you back in the game , good luck ! ..... wondering if you still have headers I sent several yrs gone now , I still proudly wear t-shirt you sent in return .... couple whiles from now , you will rarely think on this event while you out enjoying life !

Mike do try and get access to your HD. Back in the day the speedo froze at the speed of impact. Might be useful toknow just how fast you were travelling at the time andwhether that squares withyour injuries. Like you and Nigel iam sceptical.Who called the police and the ambulance.?

Wowzer, glad you survived, and hope your recovery is speedy and complete.

I was broadsided in my car, causing my head to hit my side window, knocking me out. I remember driving down my street (it happened 3 blocks from my house), then I was waking up in the ambulance. Only time I've ever been unconscious, I still have NO recollection...

16-year-old wityh no license, and supposedly no permission to be driving his uncle's van. No ticket, no insurance, etc. So, I was TOTALLY screwed on the beautiful Buick LeSabre that I had just washed and filled the gas tank @ $3 / gallon. El suck-o

Hope you heal quickly - one day at a time. You got my prayers.

I had an accident with my Norton 18 years ago, 2nd day out after I finished the restoration - car pulled out in front of me just as I was going through an intersection. I got off relatively luck - I only have a knee that will never be right again.

Insurance was good to me as far as the bike goes. I got to restore it all over again - LOL!!
