OK, SS it is. Not that I'll see them in there much.
Dave, I know you probably know this but ss fasteners in soft alloy has been know to have negative outcomes with galling. Just a speck of anti sneeze grease with do wonders for the threads and add to torque function.

Just remember to reduce the torque applied = as for lubed threads.
A 30% reduction is recommended for anti-seize ??

Once you lube something, if you torque it to the usual value, you get 30% more stretch - with anti-seize in there...

Yeah, I've got a large jar of nickel anti-seize and will be careful with the torque and keep an eye on them. The originals just seem to be a bit thin on filling the threads in the head. We'll see when I can get them though, Jon said 2-3 weeks. Maybe it'll cool off by then and the doc will say I can ride or at least start it.

L4-5 herniated disk replacement 3 weeks ago but it's probably going to be more like 6-8 weeks, or even 3 months, but it feels good, no pain.

It'll give me time to get the prox switch and relay on the anti-drain valve too. That'll be in the IJ thread, but not to steal his thunder.
