Noticed a smidge of oil after a few rides down the left hand side of rocker cover migrating down to the exhaust, after some investigation the rocker/head breather pipe had an oil drip so I removed for closer inspection. 2015 CF so perhaps its perished I thought.

Blew down the pipe and "What the hell" dropped out the end, it appears to be plastic lining of the pipe ?

My bike didnt originally come with the inline oil filter so I previsouly retro fitted an inline oil filter on the pump feed ( so glad I did now) but im a bit concerned that this is plastic and for sure would not be cool floating around the oil system.

Oil tank breather is 10mm and the head is 6mm so I have ordered a brass 10mm to 6mm barbed reducers + respective oil pipe as Im sure getting a replacement pipes a non starter.

Anyway just sharing my story as that pipe is **** SUSPECT**** and could cause issues long term.

Could it be a bit of brass swarf to help condense the oil vapour running through the pipe?

Maybe Stu Bodycote could shed some light on the brown plastic pieces ? Thanks for sharing . Have a look at this hose , might help out the bends ?

Sorry, Ive not been on here much lately. Ive seen this before, and always assumed it to be something thats not been removed from the silicone hose after the manufacturing process....as "Tornado" says. The very early bikes actually used a plastic reducer and two suitable sizes of rubber hose, before Norton switched to this silicone hose.
