For the US based guys, these engines are still available - Chris has just reposted on the Norton Motorcycle Owners FB site. Note he provides a Fl based contact number.

I don’t understand why these aren’t being snapped up. A whole engine for about the price of a clutch !!

Guess I’m really thinking about US owners where that’s not an issue, but getting parts out of Birmingham or UK dealers is…
 
Hello , I have contacted him and currently arranging a travel date. Let us remember that there will be some compatability issues with these engines also. Iron barrels , reverse shifting , etc.

thats my issue. We are on the opposite coast plus you would need to confirm they are operational with making a running jig or just parting them out otherwise
