Years ago I had a 72 XS650 Yamaha it came factory with lead in the bars.the title says it all. I heard it from someone with lots of experience with brit bikes...is this folk remedy actually any good?
I have thickwalled renthal bars on my bike they dampen quite well
Try a car tyre supply ( quick fit) depot, they rip the old car wheel weights off.I need to get my hands on some lead and have a go....
It's going to be banned from the field 'sports' fraternity soon, I believe, though what they'll substitute for it who knows?I need to get my hands on some lead and have a go....
...to go with the octane-free fuel no doubt?I see on ebay that one can buy carbon fibre lightweight bar end weights....
Yes it can work to some small extent, it's like tuning a music instrument, requires tweaks, with different weights to find right setup.the title says it all. I heard it from someone with lots of experience with brit bikes...is this folk remedy actually any good?
