I have been hearing some racket and scrurrying about, in the attic of my shop office, for a few weeks. Well, I'm sitting at my desk and all of a sudden the ceiling peneling buckles in the corner of the room, and out fall these two masked bandits-

Guess who dropped in?
 
How about all the racoon droppings they left behind up there?

They look edible. You're far enough south to call that moving road kill... or dinner in other parts of the country...
 
I set up a gauntlet, with the babies in a milk crate at the end, and my coon trap as the entrance. Mama took the bait.

They're all going way down to the bottom mouth of the creek at the back of our property. HOPEFULLY they won't be back. Plenty of nesting cover and food for them where they belong.
