Fiberglass MkIIA and MkIII side covers? (2015)

My MkIIA Roadster has steel sidepanels, My MkIIA Interstate has fibreglass sidepanels which were gelcoat coloured to match the dark blue (steel) tank.

Can't prove anything either was as I only acquired them in recent times, but the fibreglass panels look to be OEM - they look identical internally to the ones on my Combat which I'm more certain were original.
The pattern fibreglass panels I've worked with are instantly identifiable as such...

MK2A Interstate, steel tank and fibreglass side panels. Dark blue, June 74 build date.

My 1973 had been sitting since 1983 when I got it in 1995. It had a steel oil tank cover and a fiberglass battery cover. I've always wondered if it came that way from the factory or if someone replaced a cover during the first ten years.
My '73 also came with a f'glass battery side cover and steel oil tank cover.

here are photos of my fiberglass 850 roadster side covers , I am 95% sure they have original paint, so they must be original. ( I am not sure of 100% of anything!) Note the black is not very "black" in the sun it seems like a really, really dark brown.
