Got the front bracket from MW in Canada, have a 21" mudguard and the correct stays but the bracket is above the mudguard by about 1/2". Now faced with a variety of options;
1. If the bracket is correct and I mount the mudguard to it on the underneath, the stays will be wrong.
2. The same would apply if I got a bigger mudguard.
3. Replace the stays to suit the bracket and new mudguard.
4. Manufacture my own bracket and put MW bracket on a well known auction site.
5. Are the mounts on the forks wrong which is throwing the whole thing out?
6. Ask you lot for advice.

Matt

1) Who is MW?
2) By "bracket" do you mean 03-1667B front mudguard bridge?

That's Mike Partridge proprietor of Walridge Motors.

When you say it is a "21 inch mudguard", I assume you mean it is made for a 21 inch wheel?

Did you source the mudguard from Mike as well? If so, I would give Mike a call. Obviously something is incorrect, the stays, the bridge or the mudguard.

Sorry, Mike Waldridge and yep, I am referring to the bridge.

The bridge goes over the top of the mudguard. Riveted. It needs to be chromed. Mike sent me one and it was bare steel. I have some pix of the barber p11. I will see what I can dig up and will post it latter.

Here are some photos of the mudguard from my Ranger. It measures 4 1/2 inches from the edge of the guard to the center of the bridge mount holes. The overall length of the guard is approximately 37 1/4 inches.
