fav artists in different genres of music?

I saw Dire Straits supporting Talking Heads in Eric's Club ,Liverpool 1977, the whole night was brilliant ,even before Sultans of swing came out. I remember the cost was GB£ 1.25, so about US$ 2 , be a bit dearer now.

I agree , I never got excited by Dire Straits , but Mark Knopfler is just a brilliant guitarist, I have many of his solo and duet albums. However that night was memorable for Tina Weymouth being 4 foot in front of me bashing out Psycho Killer.

Not talking about Alvin. just the new left wing who want to detract from any western history. Reminds me of Lee Marvin in Cat Balou. ...I'll drink to that. any cause.

Whatever the case, Alvin's performance of "I'm Going Home" with Ten Years After at Woodstock was spectacular!

Wow. Such awesome energy.

I remember listening to this on my first Commando. I had a Simpson M61 helmet that i hollowed out the foam ear pieces and put some butchered Walkman headphones into.

Had to turn it up max, as i struggled.to hear it well over 70mph. I even butchered up a cigarette lighter power adapter to power it.
