Which would be the better buy as far as quality and sound are concerned, Wassell or Andover peashooters?
Thanks,Larry

I can't speak to the comparison, but I have Wassells and have been quite pleased with the quality.

I am making an educated guess here.
I have Wassell pipes, bought a cheaper pipe to replace some road rash - the new pipe fell apart. The "Norton" branded pipes look exactly like the cheaper pipe I had (thick welds at the taper to the pipe), so I am making the assumption that the Andover pipes are the cheapo's with Norton stamped on them. I could be wrong, of course.
If anyone knows, please let us know as I need another full set of pipes (no not road rash, another bike!) and want the nice Wassels.

There is always Epco stainless pea shooters. I bought a set and they are beautifully finished. The down side is they cost around $370 US a pair but that polished stainless makes me all fuzzy inside.

What about Viking Exhausts from New Zealand? I have heard they are the best. They may also be the priciest!

I bought the Wassel's a few months back to replace the bean-can models on my Mark 3.

Quality, fit, and finish on the Wassels is really nice.

I looked at others (photos) and wasn't too impressed with finish quality (you could see welds, etc.)

Remember looking at the Vikings too - but pricey!
