Glad to see this thread because I am about to order the exhaust system for my Commando from them but I knew nothing about how legit they are.
Has anyone used this system?

How about the sound? I'm not a loud look-at-me kind of guy but I do have a thing for bike to really be wailing when wide open. Thankfully I live out in the country and no one hears it.

They changed hands and are very much open for business.

Wow, that is where one of the two pipes on my bike cracked. I'm not sure what brand pipes they are because they were installed by the previous owner. I'll post a pic tonight and I thank you very much!

For the prices that they charge, that's far more than unacceptable.
I've seen that same failure with Toga brand silencers, which is what I think Commando Specialties was selling 10 years ago. I've been using Wassell pipes for years now and I love them. Excellent chrome, smooth seams. Somewhat loud but they give that awesome growl between shifts.

I agree! I had not heard of Viking until this morning but after I looked them up and saw their prices I said the heck with it.
