Ethanol VS Non Fuel

Yes, I only take non ethanol from the blender pumps when using Jerry cans.
One for the first hose full or so and the other for the good stuff. Alternatively put a gallon or two into the car then fill the Jerry can with true ethanol free.
When out on the bike and needing fuel I look for a Chevron. Here in BC they still offer ethanol free Supreme at a dedicated pump.

Read the station comments carefully. The stations listed here vary in what sort of pure gas they offer. If you've got a long drive ahead, give the station a call to check that they still sell what you want.

It is Chevron Premium from the Chevron Refinery in Burnaby, B.C.
Unfortunately the Shell products sold here all contain ethanol, some as high as 10 percent.

DES MOINES, Iowa - "Fuel stations throughout the country will be able to sell gasoline blended with 15% ethanol during the summer under an emergency waiver issued Friday by the Environmental Protection Agency in a move that could reduce prices at the pump and boost demand for the Midwest-based ethanol industry.

It’s a losing battle. By 2035 California will only sell electric or zero emission vehicles. After that all formulas of gasoline will be declining. I’m pretty sure my Commando will still be alive by then, but maybe destined for a museum. Oh well by then I’ll be destined for a museum also

I tested about 15 fuel types last year.
Only Chevron Supreme 94 and Coop Premium 91 were ethanol free. Both are marked ethanol free on the pump.
All others are marked " May contain ethanol " . And they do.
