U/L?
Yes but somewhat understated for today.
My gas can markings are:
E-10
I do use a bit of E-10 for newer lawn mowers or snow blowers

I no longer make or use E-10 2S mix

NO-E 4S (4 stroke)
which can be converted to
NO-E 40-1 (2 stroke gas/oil mix) or other ratio if desired

K1 kerosene clear low sulfur (paraffin)
K2 generic kerosene
D diesel red off road

I have seen here similar plastic jug deterioration.
Most older jugs are labeled "2" HDPE or "7" other or not labeled at all ?
UV also kills them.

About a year ago we had a VP race fuel dealer [and good friend] who also had a street legal pump with no ethanol fuel. Last time I was there I noticed the no ethanol sign was gone.

He said he tried but they would no longer give him fuel with less than 5%.
I tested it at just under 10%.

So now I run all my small engines and dirt bikes on VP110. Even at 10 dollars a gallon it is cheaper than buying new equipment every year.

My heavy duty red plastic jug split after setting forgotten in a corner for about a year with premium grade ethanol fuel.
It was setting in my garage so no sunlight was involved but the fuel had definitely gone bad as it smelled really bad in my garage for some time.
Probably lucky smell was the only problem.

It's not that I agree at all with the E-10 corn farmer subsidy, but the law says only E-10 in most locals. Since NO-E is not legal to be put in any vehicle run on the public road, even race gas. So it is probably the govt putting the brakes on the distributor selling to gas stations that claim to sell race gas for the local race track. But we know better.

Your government working for you...? sic Remember it's for and on behalf of your tree hugging neighbor.

I am not so sure it's the tree hugger. Ethanol fuel has been shown to be much more damaging to the environment, particularly when you include the amount of diesel oil burned to create ethanol.
I suspect it has more to do with who is making the money from ethanol.
