Emergent trends from the biggest motorcycle auction of 2022

$30K for a Kawasaki H1 500 triple; I had one IDENTICAL in 100% original (but unrestored) condition.

I could have put $2,500 or so into it and "who knows"... (instead, I sold it for $5K)

Lots of nice bikes selling for $140K, and others for $250k...
 
If I had a dollar for every vehicle I sold...
My dad had a buddy he raced with/against back in the 60's, who ran a 427 Shelby Cobra that was eventually sold off for parts.
The pic below is a modern day rendition, hand built by Kirkham Motorsports.
Today an original Shelby 427 Cobra is worth, well, you know where I am going with this.
