I did not get the pick up from cNw. I only got the mounting hardware from them. But I believe they now also use Smiths instruments, hence my suggestion to give Matt a call.

Yes and yes, the 5V wires are isolated and the feed comes from the electronic speedo, as long as the speedo's 12V side of its electronic is correctly wired then the sensor does not care.



You will notice that for both a +ve and -ve install the black/white and the pink feed wires to the speedo sensor connect to the same red and white wires.
