Just picked up 2 P11 Projects amongst a batch of bikes just purchased out of Arizona. Interesting early bikes, P11 121009 and P11 123009. Both in need of tons of help but I believe they are worth investing time, energy and obviously a bunch of cash into. One is fitted with Ceriani Forks and a Triumph TLS front wheel with Alloy rims front and back. Will post better detailed pictures after the weekend. Not sure if I will be selling them on or taking them on. I take from the numbers that one is the 3rd P11 and the other is the 4th from last of the 1st generation P11's which is pretty cool. 121009 pictured in the background has matching numbers but no numbers on top on the Gearbox, 123009 has P11 19531 stamped.

To find one P11 is a bonus but to have two is rather special. Look forward to see how you get on with them.
 
Good luck, this won't be easy. My Patrick racer is 121013, so yours is probably among the first batch shipped over and intended for off road racing?

I would sort the best of the matching numbers frame and lower end, then the absolute best original parts for everything else from the entire stash, and focus on restoring that bike.

All that remains could be built into a cafe racer, street tracker, off-roadrer, race bike, or whatever custom you desire.

Personally I would have one with downswept pipes, the other with upswept - best of both worlds.
 
The State of Vermont's online DMV system will allow you to download the needed forms, then all you need is your Bills of Sale and a local state certified inspector to visually confirm the VIN stampings and fill in the appropriate forms. They will also have to provide on their letterhead, a statement of fact that they are a state certified inspection agent.

Piece of cake + 6% sales tax and you're in business.

If I understand the Vermont scheme correctly, you are issued a registration and a license plate? In Ohio, if you are a resident of the state you must register your vehicle in this state. Obtaining an Ohio title with just a Vermont registration (especially one listing an Ohio address) would be difficult to say the least. Maybe not impossible, but certainly not easy.

In years past I had success with the Alabama scheme, but Ohio has pretty much shut that down at this point.
 
I tried to start the process of obtaining some kind of Ohio title for one of my bikes and the state hoopy that was in charge of this dept. told me that I had to start with some kind of a title to obtain a title then provide receipts for every part I used to build the bike. I told him I wouldn't be down here bothering him if I already had a title but he insisted that's the way it is , Ohio sucks for this kind of stuff.

Not to hijack this thread any further, but receipts would only be needed if you have a salvage title. I bought a salvaged Ducati from a bike shop in Michigan and was able to get an Ohio salvage title with the bill of sale and documentation (title release) from Michigan. All I had to do then was have the Ohio State Patrol inspect the bike and take the report to the DMV to get a "rebuilt" title. While I had documents for the source of the parts I used, I was never asked for them.

If you have a non-salvage title it is simply transferred.
 
Sold for less than 2500 $.
If these bikes were everywhere in Europe I would have offered 6000 euro.
But i know, in USA these bikes cost less than here.
A good deal for the buyer.
I hope it is an Access Member so that we will see another two amazing bikes restored.
