I'm wondering if any of you fellows know what bike/application a WM2-18 stamped "MC12" pertains to?

Seems like I recall it being for a Commando w/ disc front wheel, but then it would be a 19"...

The Commando disc front wheel rim was a Dunlop WM2-19, MC275.

MC288 on later 850 Mk3s.

There is a WM2-18 new rim for sale in a fecebook post, I advised the seller that there are several DIFFERENT WM2-18 rims, depending on the spoke pattern. I told him to look for the mark, and there it was MC12. Anyway, I couldn't tell him what the application was, but that he'll get more "bites" now that the sellers know it's an MC12, and less chance of an equally clueless buyer getting a rim he can't use.

My March of 1975 Mk III has a rear Dunlop rim stamped MC287

Yes, MC287 (early) or MC289.

Also, some 850 Mk2/2A models had (rear?) rims made by Jones instead of Dunlop.
