The Bahamas burst on the central bank digital currency market in 2020 with the first CBDC. Called the Sand Dollar, the country’s CBDC is a national digital currency for the region, holding the same value as the Bahamian dollar. CBDCs differ from crypto-native stablecoins put out by crypto industry entities. Such stablecoins aim to track the value of underlying assets, such as the U.S. dollar, although the stablecoins themselves are not official regional currencies and are often overseen by companies.

Kind of sounds like the Fed.

"The 2 causes of inflation" 1: Bankers
A well-known problem with the Fed is that government officials face politi*al incentives.
Fed decisions driven by politi*al motives instead of sound economics. These include poor monetary policy....
2: "Poor government policy"
Many agendas are at play right now including the motives from the Fed as you say Rob 👍
Things are gonna get $$$ tough

I say there is only ONE cause of inflation .......

Money becomes worth less than before.

In that regard, what is a digital dollar worth?

Slick

what is a digital dollar worth?
Only what some person will pay in REAL currency. You can't but "X" brand digital currency with "Y" brand digital currency. You can only buy digital currency with "coin of the realm".

(...and your use of the word "dollar" in the above statement is not correct, as they are not "dollars")

That should tell you all you need to know about people selling (A, B, C ... X, Y or Z brand) digital currency. They don't trust the "other" brands.

@grandpaul

Of coarse they are not dollars, it was meant to be a spoof. What is the worth of 1's and 0's in some computer? For that matter, what is the worth of the bank statement that by 1's and 0's tells you how many dollars are in your account?

Isn't most of it 'digital currency'?
A set of numbers appear in your account courtesy of your employer/benefits cheque.
You then use a plastic card to re distribute those numbers as is your want....
It's when you run out of numbers the trouble starts!!

Bank balnances are backed by FDIC, so nominal value up to whatever the limits are.

Of course, in certain situations, that means the FDIC triggers the "fed" (bankster's cabal) to print more play money, and you know what happens when they do that...

So what is your emphasis for?

That figure is yet to be determined untill the plained full financial Great Reset kicks into gear...there will be lots more erosion/carnage of the U.S dollar and its buying power while they turn our children's children into dept slaves

... while they turn our children's children into debt slaves
Thankfully, we are leaving our kids with a debt-free house, ranch, and somewhat valuable motorcycle collection that will be protected as a Limited Partnership Estate. If they have any personal debt, it won't affect the estate.

Gone... $10 Trillion of Americans' Wealth - 2022 Was Worst Stock-Bond-Equity Year Since 1871

2022 was the worst year for stocks and bonds combined since 1871 (which is like six years after the end of the Civil War).

Staggering Unheard of numbers

A economist explained what this means to the American people in a recent interview.....with the Financial Times Scatter graph attached below ...This shows how most years, the US is in the upper right quadrant of the chart below.... This is where you want to be.!!

Prior to Christmas America went into the basement toilet again with another $1.7 trillion on your bike package just recently signed that hasn’t been factored in yet.?

This is what someone has done to this country 👇

European Stocks End Worst Year Since 2018

Major European stock indices struggled in 2022, with most showing their worst performance since before the Covid-19 pandemic, CNBC reported on Friday.

The French CAC 40 is on pace to register a 12% plunge for the year, while the German DAX is on track to lose 18% in 2022, the worst performance in five years in both cases. The UK’s FTSE 100 has done slightly better, but is still set to lose 2% for the year.

Analysts attribute the poor performance to the conflict in Ukraine and Western sanctions against Russia. The resulting global surge in food and energy prices has sent inflation in many countries to multi-decade highs, rapidly leading to cost-of-living crises in Western countries.

A good time to buy then ??
Ya joking right ?
Bond investments are thought of as "Steady Eddies"....That usually can be counted on for stability and a steady residue income... but as interest rates rise to combat inflation the bond market would NOT be a place I would feel secure right now do you ? When looking down the barrel at a very very likely recession...... IMO
