I remember over the past year or two several people have had issues with DHL delivery. Mostly in the USA perhaps.

Anyway recognition when it's due.

I just received a large parcel containing a luggage rack from Andover Norton in the UK.

Item actioned about midday 5 Dec by Andover and picked up by DHL mid afternoon 5 Dec UK time.

Just delivered to my door in the Wairarapa New Zealand at 5 pm 10 Dec NZ time

Allowing for time differences that's about 5.75 days UK to NZ. And it's about a day Auckland to where I live in NZ. Customs clearance was actioned by DHL while the package was in the air.

Not a small parcel either. 660 × 420× 330 mm. But not heavy. Maybe 2 KG. Postage wasn't cheap at US$220.

I knew it would be expensive but that is fast.

Yes well done DHL, but all my previous experiences with them from dropping a pallet of bearings on route to BMW and using a shovel to repack them plus my chain link that went to Perth Aus and not Glasgow UK means I will still avoid them. PS they never did pay for those bearings despite being BMW's nominated supplier we were forced to use.
