No. I ripped that hunk of crap off also. Those wouldn't look so bad inside a fairing, I guess, but for an unfaired bike, yuck.
 
I've gave up a long time ago on the 900 foot long speedo cable and clumsy drivebox attached to the rear wheel. Its crap. I just work speed off the tacho in 3rd and 4th. Once you get used to it, it becomes 2nd nature and pretty accurate. The speedo clock only sits there to balance the looks and to avoid Mr Plod asking too many questions.

Ive decided to go the single gauge route, and the small simple koso unit. I want to make it removable as not to disturb the classic look of the bike too much. I really enjoy the older look, but like the modern reliability!
