What is the cause of clutch "judder" on our bikes(2015 961SE). I noticed it right from when I 1st road it(Came 552 miles on it). Seems like others have commented on it.
06/2015... Will Norton cover the cost of this item?
Crash.
Uhh, yeah!!! lol Bought it with 552 miles this year & only had a chance to put on about 600 more.Crash, so you’re bike is 3 1/2 years old, it’ll be nearly 4 by the time you check those rubbers... and you expect Norton to pay for them...?
I have gotten them from AF1 already . They may be in stockI'm in the states & it takes a long time to get parts if my Norton dealer(AF1)doesn't have them in stock. It takes 4-6 weeks to get things. It's not the money.
You fellas really think the cush grommets are shot after only 600 miles? That would be a first.
Check if you can spot pieces of rubber coming from your rear wheel hub. It is easy to check for some backlash between sprocket and wheel when rear wheel is freely movable. If there is a remarkable backlash, the rubbers are done!

Sounds like a thing I will try. ThanksClutch plates - need a clean and relube, sounds like it has spent a good part of its life sitting. When I had 20/50 in the clutch the bike shuddered on take off - when I removed the clutch, the plates were blotchy and dry in places. Cleaned, lubed, thoroughly coated the plates with 10W40 oil and it has been great for 500miles. I put 10W40 Amsoil in the primary. I had tried 20W50 to try and quieten down the mechanical noises.. but that is another storey.
