Parts book says I should have one for my 1969 Fastback. Looks like it would help protect the chain from debris kicked up by the rear tire. I received one from Andover Norton but am not sure which edge is the front - the plain edge or the edge with the indentation. I assume it hangs down from the front two bolts of the normal chain guard on the side near the tire. Anyone have a picture of an installed plate they can share?
Thanks in advance.

the Andover Norton site shows the orientation in it’s parts list, and two bolts, but not where they fit.

Thank you, Jan, for the reply. I guess the purpose of the indentation is to hit the swingarm before the leading edge of the plate hits the chain?

and get a close fit to arm?? maybe a thin bit of rubber glued to inside of indent would be extra refinement. That part was new to me… my past early Commando didn’t have it by the time I got it.
