This post was prompted by Johnny Mac's post about the for sale section. I did not want to highjack the thread so started this.
regarding buying from this forum. I have had just a few dealings with people from here. To me, the uniqueness of this forum is the honesty displayed by people I have had dealings with. Snorton, Madass, DogT and hobot, for example. Absolutly outstanding, renewed my faith in humanity. In my opinion, it seems that if you deal with a long term member, someone who has been here a while, you can deal in complete confidence. This is not meant to denigrate or criticize new members in any way. just passing on my experiences here. I have posted before about the uniqueness of this forum. lets keep it that way. it blew me away the courtesy and honesty displayed here. this forum is all about learning, sharing and co-operation. Unique. while i am in "pissing in your pocket" mode ,we should always remember if not for Jerry this forum would not exist. and how lucky are we to have Joe (ZFD) as a active member. I would love to have a coldy with Jim as well. also all the other contributers who have a lot of specialist knowledge and are willing to share their knowledge. lets keep this atmosphere of co-operation alive. any differences I may have had here have always been settled amicably.
Anyone have any experiences to the contrary.
