What you mean by "those"...none of the mirrors I have used on my bikes over the years had "little O-rings" nor hinges.

Well I've done a ton of research and I've ordered some mirrors to make a choice.

Motogadget looks great, and I'm a fan of their other gear (like their electric gear, really sleek high quality compact stuff). Unfortunately they are out of stock on their round mirror at least for 1-2 months.

I ordered two Rizoma mirrors to check them out. They cost a $!@#ton of money so they better be nice. I ordered the Rizoma Eccentrico ($274/pair + $54 for bar end adapters), and the Rizoma Spy-Arm ($372/pair + $22 for adapters).

I also ordered the Oberons, which were a much more reasonable £84.15 ($118 USD) with the adapters included. That also included shipping over the pond. I'm hoping these work out since they are affordable and look good in the pictures.

Although the Rizoma's look fantastic, I'm afraid they will stick out on my bike. I've maintained a mostly stock look and some super modern mirrors might look a bit funny next to Lucas controls.. or as @RoadScholar put it, "as hard on the eye as a rusty fastener." If I had done a modern cafe restore the Rizoma's may fit better.

The CRGs are next up if none of these fit well.

I'll report back with some photos, vibrations, etc.

Maybe Halcyon 830s? Mine sez Made in England on the stem and the mirror itself sez Halcyon but much smaller lettering. This is a 3" mirror. They also make an 820 with 2" mirror. I found that to be a bit small. I like the mounting system they use with aluminum pieces cut on an angle so when the bolt is tightened the sections expand against the inside of the bar. Very easy to order direct too.

The 820s are the rectangular ones, 830s are 4 inch round and 835s are 3 inch round.
I have the three inch ones on the Dommie.
I can vouch for their quality and the clamping arrangement is first class.

Halcyon bar end mirrors are excellent, blur free on my Commando and Bonnie, stainless steel, replaceable lenses and they stay put. I’ve used them for quite a few years and thoroughly recommend them. Link here

i put these cheapos on my Commando and all the mopeds i work on.....they work great....are minimalistic....don`t look that modern....and they are cheap:

I have the older Nappies, rubber bung in the bar type, find them best of all. The Halcyon are very well made but find them a bit more blurry. The "Streetfigher" is way too small.
You can tightened all of these up to reduce some blur but then you lose the ability to flip them in which is
useful if you have a tight entry to your shed and required if you ride the lanes.
Not a fan of the stock stalk mirrors but will admit that actually they are safer as you have less distance to move your eyes.

I put the ball end of a small hammer onto the grip, gave that a tap with a mallet, and then cut the indent out with a craft knife.

This may be really simple but I'm going to ask anyway.. what technique did you use to nicely cut away the end of the grips? I have the same grips and obviously need to cut a hole in the end where the mirror will go into the bar end.
I cut the grip roughly with a Stanley knife, leaving plenty of margin, but enough cut out to be able to get the blade tip inside the bar. Then used the inside of the bars as the guide to slowly work the tip of the knife round. Couple of minutes.

On the earlier post, I have no vibration that I've noticed in the Halcyon mirrors.

Ah.... I didn’t cut the ends off I cut the centres out so the end of the grip hasn’t been cut. Does that make sense?
