anything in central/northern oregon this weekend?

Working in the Bend / Redmond area for a week or two and am wondering if there is anything going on this weekend? Don't know the area or anyone up here and am wondering if there are any shows or interesting places to visit. Thanks.

I'm going to Crooked River tomorrow for a vintage trials. Just outside of Redmond.

Trials starts at 10am. Weather should be good.

Excellent! I'll pack a lunch! I'm working over in prineville. I'll be the tall skinny guy in the green ball logo shirt.

Met up with Dave at the trails. Totally fun! Tons of cool bikes. Ive never been to a trials event, and didn't know what to expect. Triumphs, BSAs, Montessas, an aold ridgid frame Indian single, a couple of super nice Matchless, Bultacos and some Hodakas. The things these guys do on these old bikes is crazy! Had a great time. Going back tomorrow to watch the motocross.

Dave and his uncle are good people. It was great to get a chance to meet and hang out with them.

I didn't do too bad for the first trial of the season. This wasn't an easy trials, that is for sure. But it was fun. I'm glad Chris could make it out. I think he may have got hooked. :mrgreen:


Managed to put a hole in the primary cover on one particularly unfriendly rock. I have a bit of work before the next event. Hopefully it's not soon.


Particularly fun were the three sidecar outfits. This is the first time I'd ever seen sidecars at an event. I almost want to try, almost.
