Anyone try these tires? Really no reviews online. The price is right. They have Front or Rear Duro HF261A 100/90H-19. As we know it is hard to find a rear tire for a commando.

not that particular one but i put a duro classic rib on front of my 68 BSA A65 last year and it is very good quality and handles nicely as well

I have back in 2012 on my 72 750 and under 3000 miles the back tire was smooth but the front one was in good shape yet but I won't buy them again as the AM26 Avon's last a lot longer even though they cost a bit more!

I only get about 4000 miles on a roadrider rear tire. I just got two for 55 dollars each. Super cheap. At least no issues with front.

I'm not ready to mount tires made in China/Taiwan, to anything except, maybe, a wheel barrow. Super cheap usually means a bunch of compromises. I will say that, that may change. Tires that Yamaha fit to the early 250/350 two-stroke race bikes, available to the general public, were referred to as "rim protectors"...

Best.

I'm picky about shoes for my Norton, but my old Wing is another story..... Decided to give some Shinko a shot and I can't say I have any regrets about it. Ride is smooth, traction good for a pig in a wallow, hold good with hard braking, and keeps it well on Wing type hard cornering. Wear is excellent BTW.... Oh, they hold air well also, but haven't seen any Commando compatible rear by them. Inoue( not sure of spelling) made a K81 knockoff in late 70's which was GTG... Bought one and wore little better.

We tried a set of Duro tires (don't recall the models) on my grandson's Honda VF500F 5 or 6 years ago, and really liked them. He did lots of fast canyon riding on them with no problems. We've also run Shinkos on several different bikes with similar results. They are nothing like the old Chinese tires we used to joke about. I don't know how they are for mileage, but for handling and traction they are just fine. They were all bias ply tires, but my R1 had a set of Shinkos radials on when I bought it, and they worked great. The rear tire didn't last too long, but not much does on an R1.
