Anyone know where I can find petcocks like Colorado Norton Works is using? Or some other setup that will give me a clean installation like this? My fuel lines are a mess and I'd like to clean things up a bit. I know someone sells some 90 degree fittings for existing valves, but these appear to have that angle built in.

All Paioli petcocks I can find here are M16x1. What is the thread on the Commando pet cocks? Is it identical to Atlas tanks?

Thanks - but it leads to the next question: What is CNW doing? Adapters, altering the tanks, imperial Paioli petcocks?

Did you try a local Norton/English parts dealer in Germany to see if they can get the Commando ones? You have to assume since dealers here in the State can get the correct Paioli petcocks that they come in the correct thread.

Just call Matt. I am sure he will send you some. Jim
I was going to, but I don't see them listed on his website. Just got my oil tank back from him. They did a fantastic job. Looks like new. . . Better than new.

I use BAP petcocks on almost all my restorations. You can put 90 degree angle fittings on them if you want. I have not had one leak yet. I have never tried Paolis but BAPs are the bomb as far as I am concerned.

Where do you get them from?

I got a pair of BAP's from Waldridge Motors outta Canada for a super price even w/ international shipping involved.
The exchange rate helped out there.
They are well made from Italy. They are precision made.
No more mushed o-rings behind a lever that won't turn 90 degrees due to whatever they have in these fuels now.
The Paolis look nice too. :)

The Paolis' thread right in, they are availabe in two styles, straight through and 90 degrees, they can also be had with threaded exits that match right up with the flare nuts on English fuel lines or with a ribbed nipple; they don't leak and they flow more fule than your Commando can consume.

CNW does not sell the Paolis' as a part.

Yup, spoke with Matt last Spring about my new, inadequet and leaking Anover Norton OE petcocks, he sent me straight to Rabers

I have bought from several different sources over the years. The last few I bought were from vendors on eBay UK. At the time, they were much cheaper than US sources, even with shipping. Do a search on the UK site for "BAP". You need to compare prices with exchange rate and shipping. Shipping from the UK is as fast as from the east coast of the US for me. I may have purchased from the same vendors that Kommando mentions. I'd have to check.

If you really want to spend some money and have some beautiful (and presumably very functional) petcocks, check out the billet ones from British Bike Connection. Those are sweet!! I have no experience with them myself but they look nice in the photos I have seen.

Have you asked?
Just got off the phone with Matt. No, they don't sell them, but he referred me to Rabers. The actual part numbers for the petcock pictured is:

PT-138 (left side)
PT-145 (right side)

They both have a reserve, so can both run open which will improve fuel flow. I just ordered a pair at around $24 each.

I'm getting the impression that BAP and Paolis are the same thing. The guy at Rabers said these were not either, but Matt says they're Paolis. Who knows.
