So if your not inspired to get the full use out of the cam you have in your engine (un sure if any porting or CR modification work done) with the single mk Ii you won't have any synchronization or balancing of float level issues...and from what you say you will be a happy camperChris, my Seeley for the track is equipped with MK 2 34, they were fitted when I bought it, and they work very well, so I didn't touch them.
KiwiShane, I want to check the float level of this MK 2 of 34 for this Commando S with which I never drive very fast, so I will probably never be at full throttle.
But I haven't found anything yet on the tank level for MK 2...Even on Burlen website.

I've been having fuel flow problems on my race bike & I think I've finally found the problem. Stripping the Amal Mk2 carbs for possible crud in the system I noticed that the hole for the float valve seat was only about 1/16" dia, which I thought was way too small. Checking with a friends...
