Hi Lads,

I hope you are all keeping well & safely locked up in your garage

I got a new fuel line setup from AN for my twin Amals on my 75 MK3, the original fuel line was getting quite stiff & brittle.

I removed the old setup & offered up the new setup & everything 'seemed' to fit well. I tightened everything up but had a big fuel leak from the RH banjo. Lots of looking & observing & I could see a very slight tilt on the banjo, it was not level & flat on the gauze screen gasket/washer.

I got a file & relieved some material from the side of the spigot facing the float bowl, not much just a few passes with a file.

Put everything back on & sorted.

Just in case anybody has the same problem.

I had the exact same problem, I think the banjo mounts are slightly too close together, not allowing a good seal.

The thread is a fine 26 tpi, it can be x threaded if the fuel pipe goes stiff or is the wrong length tipping the bolt off vertical, new banjo bolts and you can sometimes retap the float bowel thread but if not a new float bowel if this is the issue.
