Aliexpress Sprag DC4127(3C) Width?

MK111 sprag has never failed on me .
But the best thing I ever bought for the primary was the CNW hardened sprockets kit . 1700 or so start-ups , with no issues to date . I have a few Ali express new ones , ready in case of failure , but this did not happen , to date . Knock on wood . I'm so confident in the CNW kit that I removed the Kicker , hopefully forever . If it ever fails I can ask locals to push start me to get home is my thinking . Lord knows I've asked for help before and good folks always oblige . CAA Plus too .

That's the kit I was waiting for. After a couple of years of waiting I spotted the Ali part and installed it, not really expecting much durability from it.
That was in 2017.
Still going strong in 2024.

I have an Alton electric start on my 1973. Can you tell me how the sprague was lubricated when you bought it and whether you added any grease, and if so what type of grease and how much?

I have heard various suggestions ranging from spraying in some dri-lube occasionally to greasing about 1/3 of it's internal volume
