AIR BOX TEMP. SENSOR

If you Google search SNB 801, I seem to remember something like that. I could be mistaken though.

I just received a ES110-0017 unit. Looks just like what's in my airbox right now. Went to the Honeywell info sheet on line and learned the the ES110-0004 has a shroud over the thermistor tip. The 0017 as well as the original unit in my airbox does not. What if all the idle issues was caused by hot oil mist screwing up the thermistor tip? My sport didn't start the searching at idle until 1500 miles. Ordered one to try.

The 0017 has the wrong thread , you need M10 x 1.25

I posted earlier the pictures showing that.

The ES110-0001 is what I found works if you can’t get the 0016. The only issue is the 0001 cost 4 times more than 0016. Look for the pictures I posted.
