I've been saying that I'm 72. Infact I was talking to a customer earlier today and said I was 72. I was just looking at things in the members menu above and saw 73 under my name - took a while to figure out that it's supposed to be my age. At first I said BS. Then a little 3rd grade math - I am 73! It's not that hard to figure out when you're born in March 1950!

Earlier this year I looked up male life expectancy in the US and it's currently 76.1 so I've been saying I need to get moving to get all the projects done - less than 4 years to go. Oops, it's really less that 3 years to go

You're doing pretty darn good considering some of the body parts you have mentioned you've had replaced. Hope you are around longer than 3 more years.

But wait according to the garbage I get in my MS feed the planet is supposed to implode and start on fire in 2025. 3 more years would be a miracle in that scenario. :)

It all boils down in how young you feel in your own mind, myself am 64 and I still doing the same things I was doing in my youth, nothing has changed, just a little bit more wiser and smarter in some of the things I do, but one thing is if I sit on the ground I do find it a bit harder to get up and as long as I can still kick start the Norton and still throw a leg over the bikes I be happy.
So your 73 young as long as your happy don't worry about getting old just keep doing what you do best.

What age are you referring to as your youth Ash ? …. Not sure I can even skate anymore ( played hockey till 50, no way I could do wind sprints across football field or carry my old 8-2x4’s loads all afternoon anymore , just sayin ….

Wait 9 more years - I wasn't the bionic man when I was 64 and was still very strong. Get a few joints replaced, be admitted to the hospital a few times, die once, and then tell me how virile you are :)

I believe Koreans start counting age from conception date. Not birth date, so that would make you 75.... ;-)

Then they want all your money.
I think you have to watch out for the extra bit some might have 🤔 , so I've been told 😬 , a guy at work who frequented Thailand said you could get a BJ while drinking at the bar , he had a lot of funny stories, I said to him ,have you told your misses about all this , he said F..k no . 😂

Turned 70 last Sunday .
( mean gene beat me to it by a couple days )
Still love my bikes but sold my ST 1300 about a month ago - wasn’t using it much and the mojo for traveling has ebbed. Still surfing but conditions have to be just right for me to want to paddle out . Didn’t bird hunt last season - my dog will be 15 in October and he is battling arthritis. Some of it was me though . I’ve been at it for 30 plus years - much of it on crowded state land . I’ve been shot twice . Might be time to stop .
I’ve got a wideline Dommie 99 project in large lumps but I don’t want to work much anymore and so am getting cautious with my spending. Lucky though . Other than some neuralgia the doctors are trying to figure out I’m pretty healthy. Blood sugar / carb concerns have made beer a weekend thing now but that’s ok . Two beautiful granddaughters are a little past their first year and are simply the epicenter of the universe . Love them more than anything but it is exhausting watching out for them .
Shifting capabilities and interests are part of life and it’s chapters I suppose.
It’s still good though.

Oh, man, it's HARD to beat a pair of little pink babies!!!

I'll be 66 in a little over a month, and up until a little over a month ago, I was doing pretty much anything and everything I could do at 30, except a bit of lingering trouble with my right ankle that snapped in a very minor motorcycle accident 3 years ago.

a little over a month ago, I was working on fencing out the porches at the barndo after the cattle crapped all over the place while we were out of town. Once cow must've stepped on my utility faucet, turned it on (1/4-turn lever), and drained out 450 gallons of my main water tank, also.

Anyway, in the 106F temps, I overworked myself, cramped up all over, stopped sweating, racing heartbeat, and ALMOST passed out; Heat Exhaustion. Cramped all over for ELEVEN HOURS, puked out the gallon-plus of water I had drunk. Since THEN, I can BARELY work 4 hours in the heat without my body reminding me what hell that was. If I try to "push thru" like the "old days", my body says, "NO WAY", in a bad way. Really, 45 minutes at a stretch with 15 off to re-hydrate BARELY gets me to that 4 hour mark.

I hope this isn't permanent, and that my body just needs to revitalize itself with continuous proper hydration and limited overwork.

THIS SUCKS only getting to work half-days when I need to be working LONG days to get everything squared away for my 66th bash...

Exactly!
Well said, Gkids are a great motivation to stay involved and grab a nap.
They are really cute Richard.
My Gkids are now 5 and 7 and make all kinds of interesting observations, they are without filter and too much fun.
Mine are no longer cute, still make interesting observations, try to explain the world to me, but still fun to mess with - youngest is 21 - already gave him my second car now he's pushing me for a bike. His oldest brother already talked me out of one and I will give him one once he gets a license.

If you haven't, consider talking to a doctor about it. I had a similar issue about 8 years ago and when I finally talked to a doctor about it, I was in the ER with a team around me working to keep me alive.
