Hi Guys,
I could do with a little of your wisdom, not quite sure which way to go, as it's a bit of a chicken and egg scenario.
Firstly...The frame is bent, found a place nearby that can stick in in their jig, get it corrected. The prop stand lug seems to have been replaced at some point in it's checkered past, but who ever made the lug got the angle at which it sticks out utterly wrong and abandoned it. So just behind the lug someone has welded/bolted a replacement to the frame. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and cut both the lug and the replacement and make a proper one and weld it back in. I seem to remember seeing a reference drawing on to how to make a new prop stand lug? Anyone know where I could find it?
The more important question I'd like to ask is; Should I do the work on replacing the lug before, or after I've had the frame straightened?
All the best,
Steve
