A big thank you

Splendid then I'll try some out, I didn't know that the iridium tip made the spark larger. While power isn't everything, it'd be nice to get a tiny bit more out of her, even if it's just smoother / better responsiveness etc.

Chaps,

In two words:

Love it.

In some more words:

I've done 300 miles in 3 days running in. The bike was decatted with shorties and map from the dealer and runs superbly. The overrun popping and crackle is hilarious. EML started intermittently appearing/disappearing from 250 miles as others have reported with the EURO4, but it's running beautifully so I presume it's a sensor issue (lambda/throttle position/other?). It's not a problem and I'll get prime factors to check it out when it goes in for its first service.

Obviously the most important mod was to remove the nasty reflectors (+20hp), bar end mirrors I'll do in due course but for now she looks very stock in Ti grey. What a bike.

I'll try and upload some pictures later on.

So far your 'options' choice will have made you a few supporters.... WelshR and myself are adorers of Titanium but I already see Eddie wincing; binned reflectors+open 'shorts' loved by many but think Clive might have something to say about that. You can win back a few points with Eddie if you adopt small LED indicators (I'm also in that camp) and Clive might forgive you on the 'shorts' if you fit Halcyon bar end mirrors (they do look classic!) :)

Re colour Titanium looks great (I chose it over black, shocking but true) though my absolute favourite would be BRG/gold combo which they had a few years ago... also the old single seater cowling and pinstriping looked a touch nicer.

But the key styling question for us all is surely - bar end mirrors - do you bend up or down?

I think Sports should be up and CRs should be down....follows the bars.

Lots of flip flopping on the mirror position gentlemen. Vertical but 45 degrees out for me, already have to risk a dowagers hump in the cafe position, don't want to crouch any lower. Have taken to sitting up, no hands coasting up to junctions occasionally, hear the pop and crackle a bit better

With you on the iridium plugs Nigel but cannot wait to get my bike serviced and peashooters fitted proper pipes. Did you really sit on a Harley was it painful poor man.

Hi Nigel I do believe the N H S have anti Harley tablets available on prescription maybe a visit to your doctor would cure your unfortunate Harley condition best of luck on your recovery mate hope it is not to painful.

A mild case of sitting on a Humpty Dumpty is quite reversible but look out for the danger signs of thinking 'their new electric model looks really smart....'.

and

After being an Up man I saw the light; Mirrors Down on a CR. No discussion needed it's just right.

I agree. CR should be down. Why have to strain yer neck to look up? Raised bars should be up Instead of glancing downward to the mirror. Keep the eyes straight.
