330549 is a Mk111 built in April 1975.
Great story Steven and definitely not too long. My Mk111 Interstate number is 333555 so my bike was built just 6 later than yours. I have verification from Andover stating the bike was tested and accepted on 24/06/75 and was despatched on 27/06/75. The bike was registered in the U.K. in 1976.

If your bike was built in April 1975 they must of been going awfully slow in the production shop as that’s less than one per week! As I understand it this was right at the latter stages of the commando builds and I guess the workforce were pretty downbeat by then knowing the end was nigh.

Oh just realised your number started 330 so my bike was built 3,006 after yours I‘m such a Plonker!

Steven .Welcome to the forum. Your epic maiden voyage took balls, especially this time of year. Congratulations! I am certain this Commando has fell into good hands. Good luck.
Dave.

Steven, congratulations on your choice of conveyance! You'll find plenty of Norton and other Brit Bike people in Oslo and just about everywhere else in Norway. Check out Westfjord Brit Bike Rally in June and The Lucas Rally in August. They're the main events as Brit Bikes go, but there are others. Any bike rally is a good rally though, friendly faces everywhere. Hope to see you around!

Hey, thank you all so much for the nice comments. Really appreciate making me feel so welcome. Since i was around 17 ive been dipping in and out of various car and bike forums but so far it seems the Norton lot are the most hospitable!

You may want to check out BritBike Forum, but Access Norton must be the best for Nortons. BritBike is good too, and deals with a broader spectrum of Brit Bikes.
Also check out CBOC in Bergen on Facebook and their website for this years rally calender: https://cboc.wordpress.com/
There's a lot going on in Norway, if not quite up there with England and the rest of the UK. You can PM me for more info and a chat if you want.
