7 Norton mounted bikers at Rykers. Hope it's warmer next time!
& some more icon bikes at the “ RYKAS CAFE “ BOX HILL SURREY today
Looks like there was a Dominator among the Nortons?
A couple of H2 supercharged Kawa's.
I think I recognize GLB's Domi and for sure Richards bike there with tank bag ?
Some more pics:
Not as pretty as the bikes - Sunday lunch at Rykas:
Nice one boys. Be the you caused quite a stir didn’t you?
So, 7 is the number to beat next time eh?!
Lunch photo proves - maybe only 7 Nortons in attendance but probably over 200+ Norton rider years of experience.
Bet the other brands can't match that ratio.
What are You trying to say? There were only 17 year olds present.
Anyone care to put names to faces?
I couldn't make it in person but was with you guys in spirit as I added a few more miles to my running-in tally today
Yes 7 or please , but don’t include the Norton’s in the shop please
Well we have left to right in a semi circle is, mark from Thurrock ,yours truly next , moir, BLIGHTYBRIT/ aka Richard , Stuart from Salisbury as in Stuart 2015, then graham as in GLB , terry from north Kent & Steve from Salisbury, Paul aka comet was taking the pic , we all swapped numbers , I be sending a” access norton “ links via their mobiles ( cell phones to some of u ) , and no the photo is not in black & white we do have grey hair
And just a few more of today’s gallery, an entry model Harley & few top model ones, close up of Paul’s rizzoma black mirror , & Terry’s sport with the mirror finish tank ,Stuart & Steve are of to the ISLE OF MAN for the classics , so we have our inside guys on the nose for all things norton there
Richard Thanks for organising this and getting us together. I have already got banners made up with '961 owners club' for next time
Echo the thanks to Richard. Banners, owners club, things are ramping up somewhat. Look forward to where this is going.
Thanking u , humble beginnings. He who dares etc, few of potential venues were mentioned on Sunday inc , Haynes motor museum in Somerset on the A303 ( that road to west coast boys that just keeps going) & also “ sammy Miller museum “in Hampshire which is another bucket list destination for any motorcycle enthusiast, so we will raise another thread for these at the appropriate time .So just 18 more sleeps to the Krazy Horse rendez vouched on SATURDAY 14th APRIL , I’m in
Hi all. Thanks for posting the pics. Yep it was great to meet up and put faces to names. A true like minded bunch whom all use the same make of grey hair dye. The bikes drew quite a crowd. I would imagine that many of the bikers present had never seen a 961 before. Must do it again, soon.
Mark (from Thurrock)
