Shock & horror!
At 14,500 miles, I discovered the main loom on my 2015SF has been chaffing on the bottom yoke. Damage is limited to some missing insulation on the purple wires. Fortunately, no damage on the core strands. Therefore, an easy fix.
961 Loom chaffing!
Worth checking to ensure loom is not fouling the right angled step on the yoke.
Happy fettling.

check what is going on under tank as well - get some different sizes spiral cable protector from ebay - and some some fabric tape to bind it

Hand built - all going to be slightly different! If that pre-ride check list gets any longer there will be no time to ride!!

Bit of admission here - not gonna do any of that shit tomorrow! At about 7am I’m gonna flick the BMS from ‘store’ to ‘charge’ and wait for the bleep! At 7.30 I’ll start her up (I’ve got neighbours both side, with kids). Not gonna lube the chain or check oil, I did that at the end of the last ride. Garage, fuel, tyre pressures, check RACQ membership. Ride!

Riding the Norton is always gonna be an adventure!!
