That could have been quite a wait with the rain and snow we're still getting nationwide........roll on spring and summer!!

saw the video on the caf 'e racer seems a bit odd their showcasing that and they ain't even built the first Ltd Edtns as yet.
Also being a bit of a nerd, it seem reluntant to tick over when he shut it off and the end of the test drive that's why he revved it.............

He was blipping the throttle the whole time, because how boring would it be to just let it idle. How many times have you blipped your throttle for absolutely no reason just to hear the exhaust?

Reluctant to idle? The way the natives rag on the new Norton you'd think they hope it will fail...

Considering I've shelled out nearly £20,000 GBP. with Norton
why would I want it to fail ?
It was just a observation.

Richard,
Any word on when you take delivery? You know we all expect pictures when you do!!

The last I heard was a letter dated 10/12/09 saying delivery
would be in the next 4 to 6 weeks .
Norton seem to work on the mushroom method, they keep you in the
dark and shovel you a bit of manure occasionly !

I think I'd be talking to someone as it's been almost 5 months since that last letter...

Small confusion on date of letter 10/12/09
means to usa residents 12th of oct 09
to uk residents it means 12th dec 09

Nearly 100hp less than my 1198s duck and it costs more. Despite the fancy "bits" it does not handle any better and in fact it's all overkill for such a weak engine. It is handsome though. I guess with inelastic demand and economies of scale this bike is purely for looks, which makes good sense. Here's hoping it's reliable ;)

It seems Norton has let the press ride their bike and the reviews are glowing. Haven't seen a really negative word about the bike. However, no information as to when any bikes will be delivered.
It seem to be a better idea to spend that much rebuilding a vintage Commando. At least you would have some idea when the bike would be completed
