hi Guys
RE my 1970 fast back
from searching the forum and looking at the manual it looks as though my choice of front tyre size is very limited 3.00 x 19 but the bike has a 3.6 x 19 fitted but a non standard fender i will go back to the correct fender [ need to for historic rego in this part of the world] the guy at the local tyre place says i should be able to get a 3.25 x 19 tyre in there ? if i go for the 3.0 x 19 i have a choice of 1 tyre the avon something ? any one have any first hand experiences with this choice ?
cheers

I found an original style 300-19 Avon Speedmaster MKII ribbed just like what came on it in 70 from Walridge. I'm not sure he has them all the time and they may be out of production now, it took me a long time to find it. Give Mike a shout, he may be able to help. Just be aware you won't find any premiere tubes for a 300-19. I had to go to a 275-19 tube to find a decent one. Bikemaster tubes are crap.

I just switched from a 100/90V19 to a 90/90V19 Roadrider on the front and really like the quicker steering. It now goes where I point it. Also it fits better. It would fit an earlier Commando no problem. It's a Roadrider not Roadrunner. I don't think those are made anymore?

Bikemaster tubes do suck. Now running an IRC tube made in Thailand but at least it holds air!
