There is no longer a ball bearing on the timing side - the engine has roller bearings on both sides now.motoracer8 said:There is no end play on the crankshaft, the shim is to center the rod, may need it, may not. I finished it and rode it a few times. The energy transfer ignition truly SUCKS!, I need to update the charging system and add a battery and electronic ignition.
it's parked right now as I am in the process of building a new shop and all of my tools and projects are packed up.
The pics that I took documenting the build are on my old desktop that is running XP so I can't connect it to the internet anymore.
If I ever find the motivation, I'll update this thread.
