3/16 fuel line

I would suggest 1/4 minimum for these thirsty Nortons. 5/16 is not out of the question

Fuel hose is sized according to the inlet spout on the carb and the fuel petcock. Take both to an auto supply store is see what fits.

FWIW, I've had fuel starvation on a 750 with 1/4" hose (actually, the T piece was the culprit) on long straights. The tap was able to deliver, but the T Piece restricted it....drillled it out and no more problems. It depends on how you ride...lots of WOT and you will probably need 5/16..and big bore taps!

I put a small inline filter in my 850's fuel line once and had starvation problems on the highway. Small fuel lines is a bad idea on a Norton.

Thanx for the replies. Guess I'll stay w/ 1/4 and remove the 2 inline filters. I was experiencing some sputtering at wot when I switched to open megas. Upsizing main jet didn't help. Might have to go back to peashooters w/ these carbs
